In-home Senior Assistance & Care Solutions
Neighbors NY is the perfect solution for those seniors who aren’t ready to leave their homes but who require some support to continue living independently. We improve the quality of life by providing compassionate, one-on-one assistance in the comfort of home. Many clients also use our services to provide additional care for their loved ones in independent living and assisted living facilities as well as in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities.
Highly qualified and trained caregivers are ready to help you and your loved ones with a variety of daily activities. All of our services are non-medical in nature, but we frequently work in conjunction with skilled medical personnel when that level of care is required.
We offer additional peace of mind for families by using a telephony time system that automatically alerts us if a caregiver does not arrive at your loved one’s on time. This system also ensures that you pay only for the actual time the caregiver spends in the home.
Neighbors NY provides two basic types of services -- Companion Care and Licensed Care. Companion Care Services include all services listed below except the Licensed Care Services. Licensed Services include all services listed. If your needs are not listed here, please call us. We will be happy to discuss your needs with you and let you know if we be of help. If not, we will refer you to the appropriate resource in the area.

24-hour Service
Some of our clients require that someone be in the home 24 hours a day and be available to assist around the clock. In these situations, we build a team of caregivers to work with your loved ones. The caregivers can then fill in and sub for one another in case of illness or emergencies. This team approach ensures that all of the caregivers know the clients and their needs well.
How Hourly Care Works
Most of our clients do not require around the clock care. Some may need help for only a few hours each week or a few hours each day. Neighbors NY is flexible, and we are happy to provide care whenever and wherever needed for as little as three hours (our minimum visit time). We offer assistance on a regularly scheduled basis such as three hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, or on an occasional basis as needed. We pride ourselves on meeting your needs as they arise. Keep in mind that each visit must be at least three hours.
